Welcome!

If you are here to explore working with a Spiritual Director, you may well be in the right place. Explore the site -- go to the GETTING STARTED (FAQ) page where many of your questions may already be answered; read the blog and listen to how you feel; follow some of the links to learn more; find out a little something about my background. If you'd like to contact me -- either to set up an appointment or ask a questions, there's a contact form on the right side of each page that you can use to MAKE A CONNECTION.

Most simply, though, the spirit of my practice can be summed up in these words (adapted from Robert Mabry Doss): For those who come here seeking God ... may God go with you. For those who come embracing life ... may life return your affection. And for those who come to seek a path ... may a way be found, and the courage to take it step by step.

What People Have Said

The most important thing when considering engaging into a relationship with a Spiritual Director are your own intuition and feelings.   Nonetheless, it can be helpful to hear something of the experiences other people have had:

"I could not have asked for a better spiritual guide during the discernment of my call. Wik witnessed my exploration, gently nudging and guiding me to hear the answers of my soul's deep calling. I might still have become a minister without Wik's spiritual direction, but I am certain he made my discernment easier and hearing the voice of God easier."

~ Kimberly D. (Unitarian Universalist clergy)

"I've found Wik a kind and generous presence. He is someone who can listen deeply and respond from that place. I would easily recommend him to anyone seeking a spiritual director."

~ James F. (Soto Zen priest)

"Wik is very present and speaks from a deeply grounded place."
~ Scott H. (Baptist Pastoral Counselor)

"Wik has a rare capacity for holy listening, grounded in prayerfulness, compassion, and deep wisdom. My experience of him as a spiritual companion has been truly transformative."
~ Ethel H. (Presbyterian laywoman)
